Who We Are
Helping Children Worldwide is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit that seeks to provide hope to impoverished children, their families and communities.
Who We Serve
Currently Helping Children Worldwide supports nearly 250 children in Sierra Leone through the Child Rescue Centre, 10,000 patients a year at Mercy Hospital in Sierra Leone, and 7 non-profits and other service providers in Herndon, VA at the non-profit center Connections for Hope.

Why We Serve
Inspired by our Christian faith and the needs of children throughout the world, we are motivated to have an enduring compassion for impoverished children and families around the world. For over 9 years Helping Children Worldwide has been guided by our Christian heritage to look beyond our needs to the needs of others.
Our Partners
Since 2003 Helping Children Worldwide has made a difference in children’s lives by providing hope for a better future. Through many partnerships Helping Children Worldwide is able to continue providing such hope to children and families in Sierra Leone and Northern Virginia.
- African Programs Church Partnership - A growing partnership of 13 churches supporting the Child Rescue Centre and Mercy Hospital in Sierra Leone
- Connection for Hope Partners - Partnership of nonprofit organizations and other service providers that operate under one roof to provide individuals and families in need with access to an integrated array of services.
- Corporate Partners – Partners that have committed to supporting one or more of Helping Children Worldwide programs
Donors and Supporters
Helping Children Worldwide is supported by hundreds of generous donors which include corporations, churches, government agencies local and abroad, and many dedicated volunteers. We are committed to our donors and supporters. When specified, donations are used as designated by the donor. We are thankful for the support Helping Children Worldwide receives and are committed to the children, families and communities to provide hope to those in need.
