The ten-year civil war took their homes, their families, their security, but not their hope. In 2000, the Child Rescue Centre rescued 140 children from the streets of Bo, Sierra Leone. The children receive food, clothing, education, healthcare and a safe place to live and grow.
As of the end of 2007 nearly 200 children are secure in the trust that they will be cared for; that they will be given the best possible opportunities for education and life skills training; that their healthcare needs will be met; that people love them and will help them succeed.
Helping Children Worldwide provides a significant portion of the operating expenses of the CRC each year, insuring the on-going care that these children receive. Because of you, children will learn and grow in an atmosphere of love and security. Because of you, these children can think about a better future. Together, we are providing hope in the poorest country in the world through the CRC.
