The Child Rescue Centre (CRC)  provides hope and a future to more than 300 children in Bo, Sierra Leone, through a residential program, a child support program and a foster care program. The children and youth in the care of the CRC receive the tools they need to become adults of integrity and strong Christian character.  Combined with the contributions of others in the program, your sponsorship ensures that the CRC can continue to provide a safe haven for the children to flourish. The Child Rescue Centre helps children succeed.

The CRC was established in July 2000 during Sierra Leone’s brutal 10-year civil war, and has since grown to become a nationally-recognized model for raising at-risk children to become leaders.  The children and youth of the CRC are allowed to enjoy their childhood and encouraged to reach their God-given potential.  At present, more than 20 of our young people are enrolled in post-secondary education programs, including vocational school, college and medical school.  The CRC prepares and transforms poverty-stricken and war-affected children into adults by addressing their intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual needs.
