"We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3
Church Partnership With Helping Children Worldwide
We believe that we couldn’t make the degree of impact we do without having amazing churches coming alongside us and partnering with us and our mission. The mission of The Child Reintegration Centre and Mercy Hospital to transform lives in Sierra Leone is made possible by the support of our vibrant partnership of churches in Virginia, South Carolina, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Texas. These churches together with our supporting congregations around the country provide support (prayers, material, financial) to our programs in Sierra Leone, send missioners, and most importantly, advocate passionately on behalf of the vulnerable children and families we serve.
Join Us Today!
We enjoy working together with our church partners to fulfill Jesus’ mandate to care for our neighbors and the less privileged - locally and globally. Our Church mission partners tell us that they initially joined this work to help the children, only to discover that God used the children to transform their lives.
“This ministry has changed the lives of thousands of children, enabling them to find loving homes, education, and improved health. It has been one of the greatest sources of joy to our members and a place of great unity and community.” Bishop Tom Berlin, Former Lead Pastor of Floris UMC and now Bishop of the Florida UMC Conference.
We believe in God’s invitation to serve and embrace the opportunity and responsibility to be His hands and feet in a broken world.
We invite you to do ministry with us by becoming a partner church or a supporting congregation where you will bless children, families, and communities with your prayers, time, talent, and financial resources.
“Ebenezer as a partner will work with HCW and the leaders of the villages and ask them ‘What do you need?’ It was really powerful to meet my brothers and sisters in Sierra Leone, and to try together, across racial boundaries, across linguistic boundaries, across geographical boundaries, to come together and say ‘We are brothers and sisters, and we can help each other.’ I can tell you that we have been richly blessed by this program.” Pastor Rob Lough, former lead pastor of Ebenezer UMC.

- This partnership will be an opportunity that will help your church experience the joy and excitement of helping vulnerable children and families.
- Your members will feel connected and encouraged when they go on a mission trip to participate in the work on the ground.
- Your congregation will be blessed by video testimonies of local staff, families, and children whose lives have been transformed by family care, education, reliable health care, and other programs that keep families together, and their children in school.
