Writing to your Child Reintegration Centre student

As the sponsor of a Child Reintegration Centre student, you are invited to exchange letters with your student.  Writing to your student lets them know that someone cares about them and wants them to succeed.  The kids love to get letters, and they especially love to get photos of you and your family!

How do I write to my CRC student?

• Download letter template here, or you can use any letter size paper. 
• Label letter with YOUR FIRST & LAST NAME and YOUR STUDENT’S FIRST & LAST NAME.  We have many students with similar names and we want to make sure your student gets your letter!
• Be sure to include a photo of you and your family.
• Print neatly in dark ink or type your letter in a font that is easy to read.  Please don’t write in cursive or use a light colored pen, it is difficult for students to read, especially the very young.

​What should I write about?

• Write about your family,  church,  job, pets, and hobbies.  You CRC student will be interested to learn all about you!
• Include a Bible verse or inspirational quote.
• Remember, you are writing to someone whose first language is not English and whose lifestyle is far simpler than yours.   Keep your letter simple and short.
