Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, the Child Reintegration Centre held a wonderful, joy-filled Christmas party for all the children and youth enrolled in a CRC program. The kids ate a delicious lunch with sodas, sang Christmas songs, held a Nativity pageant, danced, socialized, and received a special take-home gift which included a solar lantern. Many thanks to CRC Director Olivia Fonnie, SAC Coordinator Henry Kebbie, his assistant Assiatu Tarawally, and the entire CRC staff for making this a memorable occasion for the kids. We hope you enjoy the video and photos below.

Fatmata is a very brave little two year old who helps her blind parents navigate the streets of Bo. When her pregnant mother went into labor, Fatmata guided her to Mercy Hospital to give birth. The staff delivered Fatmata's baby brother by vacuum aspiration. The family is doing well, and is deeply grateful for Mercy's timely intervention. Dr. Aruna, the attending physician, is pictured below with Fatmata, her parents, and new baby brother.
