A New Latrine in Lemblema!
On June 24th, the second phase of the Village Partnership project was achieved in Lemblema village with the completion of a second latrine in the community. On July 26th, an opening ceremony will be held for this latrine, with the July team in attendance, so be sure to look out for that article!
Altogether, the Village Partnership Initiative has made it possible for this village to receive 1 community meetinghouse (known as a court barry), 2 latrines, 100 benches, and desks for their school. In conjunction with Sammie village, a cohort from this village has also undergone the Family Strengthening training with the CRC. In the next few weeks, discussions will begin with our village partnership team on the ground, including our new Field Liaison Maada Navo, to identify a lucrative enterprise project to support the ongoing health and human service needs of the village.
