As part of the CRC's Transition Coaching and Mentoring (TCM) initiative, the CRC invited representatives from the Princess Project and their implementing agency Love One Another, which is based in Sierra Leone, to learn more about transitioning children from residential care to family care. A plan was discussed for teaching and coaching the LOA staff on the transition from residential to family-based child care. The organizations' representatives enjoyed a tour of the CRC and discussed future collaboration.
The TCM department, led by David Musa, is planning collaborations with child-focused organizations located in Bo, Moyamba, Kenema, and Pujehun. David will be meeting with representatives from Every Child Foundation and Grace Foundation based in Kenema.
